It rarely ever snows in the greater Portland metro and mother nature just dumped at least 2 feet of snow in less than 4 hours which is in insane for the valley, snow usually turns to rain before it hits the valley floor. I’ve already encountered people going crazy, there was a guy in an Audi A7 doing donuts in the middle of the deserted intersection, I tried to take a photo but he took off as soon as we pulled out onto the street. There were also so kids in old Ford pickups cutting massive figure 8 and donuts in abandoned sports authority parking lot. I was wondering if it was any of you guys out there. The power even went out which I made a video for. If I had a cheaper SUV or pick up I’d find an empty parking lot to be a hooligan in too. Oppolock baby!!

I haven’t had that flavor, but I’ve had the Maple Bacon Ale. It was the worst beer I’ve ever had, and I’ve drunk some god awful eastern european brews.

I’ve seen that one too. It sounded terrible so I didn’t touch it. There’s some things bacon shouldn’t go in and beer is one of them.

I’m stuck with all this snow. Camaro’s don’t like 6" of snow. So no work for me today.

Fuck yes. Last time the wife and I visited her mom in Springfield we got a box on the way back. Totally worth the wait in line.

And 150 miles to the north, nada, nothing, dry, other than the de-icer and sand/salt that the beloved authorities love to dump on the road when the temps hit 35F (with a 15F dewpoint, but budgets gotta be spent). Jealous, just a little.

Down in the Eug we got nothing. It’s not even raining. I’m thankful though, between our two ice storms and last week’s snow, I’ve taken lots of time off and paid many dollars to baby sitters because of day care closures.

Oh. Here we’ve had snow since about October 6th.
